See works by Rembrandt, Picasso, and Toulouse-Lautrec, as well as plenty of more light-hearted pieces by unknown artists.

Learn about the interesting building – located on the Herengracht canal – in which the collection is housed. Marvel at the 17th-century ceiling painting in one of the rooms, which emerged after renovation in the 80s. The painting is from the school of De Lairesse and shows the Amsterdam City Virgin.
